Sunday Evening Jazz Schedule
Our Home for Jazz on Sundays...
ROOM 43
- TIME: 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
- LOCATED: 1043 E. 43rd Street, ROOM 43 is 1.5 blocks east of Ellis (between Berkeley & Greenwood) on the south side of the street (at the bus stop sign - it has orange awnings).
- FREE PARKING: on the street, or the "One Stop" at Lake Park & 43rd (1 block east)
- VALET PARKING: is available
- ADMISSION: $10 adults/$5 for University students with ID or children with adults
- ROOM 43 offers bar and food service, including a tasty selection of "Jazz Bites."

John Burnett Orchestra featuring vocalist Frieda Lee for our return to ROOM 43
Additionally, the Hyde Park Jazz Society and John Wright Music will honor Frieda for her contributions to jazz in Chicago.
Sun. Jan. 15: Bernard Scavella Quintet at ROOM 43 - featuring Bernard Scavella (sax), with Randy Ford (guitar), Dave Drazin (piano), Dan McNaughton (bass), Mel Davis (drums)
Sun. Jan. 22: Marlene Rosenberg Quartet at ROOM 43 - featuring Marlene Rosenberg (bass), Geof Bradfield (saxophones), Scott Hesse (guitar), Makaya McCraven (drums), and a surprise guest TBA! Additionally, this will be Marlene's CD Release Party for her newly-released Origin Records disc "Bassprints."
